Bite Me v.7 Chapter 14 Part 4 of 7

I’ve got to get to class,” said Michelle, “So I’m breaking our connection now. Bye Victoria.”

Bye, Michelle,” answered Victoria who then thought to herself, “Bye forever Queen Michelle because when you do wake up from the meditated sleep, it will be after you are defeated by your much stronger personality and then I will stake your heart thus killing both of you permanently along with all of your clan.”

Michelle takes her book bag and exits the girls’ restroom. But on her way to the gym she runs into Athena.

“Michelle,” said Athena, “how are you doing?”

“I’m doing fine,” said Michelle, “How about you?”

“I’m doing fine, too,” said Athena, “but how are you doing in regard to her?”

“I’m going to be doing something later today to take care of her,” said Michelle, “which means I won’t be at cheerleading practice. That will be okay right?”

“Yes,” said Athena, “that will be just fine.”

“Oh, I am so glad to hear that,” said Michelle who then enters the gym for her next class.

Michelle walks home after school and along the way a fierce pain hits her chest.

            “Ah!” she screams, “What’s happening?”

What do you think is happening?” asked a voice, “I’m taking over. That’s what.”

“Why now?” she asks, “When I have a way to restrain you?”

“Do you really now?” asked the voice, “Or is it really a way to make me stronger?”

“I won’t let you do this,” declared Michelle, who was drawing a crowd for talking to herself.

“You don’t have a choice,” said the voice.

Michelle is forced to her knees and she begins to grabs her chest.

“No!” she cried as her entire wardrobe began to change.

The shorts and T-shirt that she was wearing was replaced by a long black gown. Around the back of the gown was an equally long cape. Her skin tone turn pale and fangs began to grow in her mouth. Once the transformation had completed she stood up.

“Finally,” she said, “I have taken control and will finally be able to reign over my clan. But first things first, I need to summon my clan.”

“I don’t think so,” said a tiny voice that Michelle could barely hear.

            “Who said that?” she asked.

“I did,” said the tiny voice who made herself visible only to Michelle.

“Mom,” said Michelle, “I was wondering if I would have to deal with you now that the real me is in control.”

“But Michelle,” said Mary, “this isn’t the real you.”

“Of course it is,” said Michelle, “I was destined to be a vampire queen every since I was born to two Vampires!”

“No,” said Mary, “your true destiny is to carry on the family tradition of being a vampire slayer.”

“Well I choose to embrace this destiny now,” said Michelle, “besides sometimes killing vampires was hurting me and I couldn’t have that anymore.”

“Well sorry,” said Mary, “but I cannot let you do this. I will bring back the real you and I will do it right now!”

“And how are you going to do that?” asked Michelle, “Are you going to make me a fairy? You can’t I’m already a Vampire Queen.”

“No,” said Mary, “All you are is the most evil side of my beloved granddaughter. She has a lot of good in her and a lot of fight to go with it. She just needs an extra boost in order to win.”

She sprinkles fairy dust over Michelle.

“Come back my human daughter,” she says.

In an instant, Michelle was back to wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

            “What happen?” she asked.

“You were temporary taken over by your queen persona,” said Mary who resumed human form.

            They embrace.

“Mom,” said Michelle, “I don’t think I can fight and defeat her without doing this meditation thing. I know you don’t trust Victoria but I have to do something.”

“Okay,” said Mary, “Go do it. But remember it is possible that this could just be a way to bring her back into power on a more permanent basis.”

“I don’t care,” said Michelle, “I have to do this.”

“Okay,” said Mary who then resumes her fairy form again, “but be aware that I will be there with you in invisible mode to help if you think you need it. If you do just call out in your mind Mommy help and I will sprinkle dust over you again to give you that extra boost you need. Understand?”

“Yes, mam,” said Michelle, “and thank-you.”

With that Mary turns invisible. One of the people who was watching these events unfold runs over to Mary.

            “Are you okay?” she asked.

“I’m fine,” said Michelle who then walks off toward her house.
