Bite Me v.7 Chapter 14 Part 1 of 7

“So you think it will work with me too,” said Michelle.

“Yes,” said Victoria, “you have the extra advantage of being a Van Helsing as well.”

“And you think this is the best route for me to go with?” asked Michelle.

“Yes, I do,” said Victoria, “Will you do it?”

“Yes, I will,” said Michelle, “but first I need to return to the school and grab my things.”

“Okay,” said Victoria, “Let’s go right now.”

They leave the parking lot of the Police Station and head back to campus.

Chapter 14

Michelle arrives and is greeted by the Principal.

“You don’t have to return to the Library for your stuff because I have it right here,” said the Principal.

            “Thank-you,” said Michelle.

“Who’s your friend here?” asked the Principal.

“Hi,” said Victoria, “my name is Victoria. I’m her attorney.”

            “Oh,” said the principal, “Interesting.”

The Principal hands Michelle her book bag and watches as the two queens of the vampires leave the campus.

Attorney huh,” thought the Principal, “Unfortunately for you Victoria, I know the truth. You’re a Vampire Queen just like Michelle. And if I didn’t know better I’d say you are the one behind Michelle becoming an official queen. I don’t know what you are up too but I care for Michelle because she is the granddaughter of my queen. And she is also one of my students. She better not end up dead because of you Queen Victoria or you will have to face my wrath.”

“Do you really think this meditation process of yours will work on me?” asked Michelle, “And I can focus on being a slayer instead of a queen?”
“Yes, I do,” said Victoria, “It’s what work for me.”

“But you’re still a vampire queen,” said Michelle.

“Yes, I am,” said Victoria, “but if I was in all out Vampire Queen Mode, you would be dead a long time ago because I wouldn’t want any competition.”

“I see,” said Michelle, “What exactly will I have to do?”

“Well,” said Victoria, “We have a table that you will lie down on. It will be lowered into water. Don’t worry. You will be supplied with oxygen while you are under.”

“How will being under water help me defeat my queen personality inside my mind?” asked Michelle.

“Vampires are weakened by vervain,” said Victoria, and the water will contain a high dosage of vervain.”

“Won’t I be weakened by that as well?” asked Michelle, “Aren’t queens weakened by it too?”

“No,” said Victoria, “We’re still human so we’re immune to it.”

            “Okay,” said Michelle.

“My genie will then place you in a trance that will allow you to face a physical version of your other personality. And the two of you will fight until one wins,” said Victoria.

“And how long will the battle between us lasts?” asked Michelle.

“Mine lasted only a few minutes,” said Victoria, “but they could last as long as a hundred years. Fortunately, you can live to be way over a thousand years.”

“Well,” said Michelle, “I don’t know. I think I need time to consider this. According to her, the next vampire to awaken will give her enough strength to take over. He died around noon today which means he won’t awaken until midnight. And he won’t need to feed until noon tomorrow so can I give you my decision then?”

“Sure,” said Victoria, “but I promise you. It will help to do this meditation.”

“Okay,” said Michelle, “I’ll think it over and get back to you.”

“So she offered you a chance to contain your Vampire Queen half so you can be a slayer?” asked Mary, “I don’t know for sure I would trust her, Michelle.”

“It worked with her,” said Michelle, “and I need to do this because the voice is starting to become very distracting.”

“Well I’m going to advice against it,” said Mary.

“As will I,” said David, “but you can make your own decisions. If you want to give this a try, go right ahead.”

“Thank-you,” said Michelle, who then heads upstairs to her room.
