When Mia arrived in the cave she was
immediately grabbed by nearby vampires and throne before Victoria who was on
her throne.
“Who is this?” asked Victoria.
“It’s one of those fairies, my
queen,” said one of the vampires who had a hold of Mia, “the ones who stole
your genie bottle.”
“I see,” said Victoria, “what do you
have to say for yourself fairy?”
“I’m not a fairy anymore,” said Mia,
“my powers were stripped from me from inside the fairy realm and I am now
powerless to defend myself against you.”
“Really?” asked Victoria.
“Yes,” said Mia, “I speak the truth.
Fairies have the same fate as witches. If a vampire drinks their blood they
die. So please if you don’t believe me have someone drink my blood.”
“Very well,” said Victoria, “you,
who has a hold of her. You drink her blood from the wrist to see if she indeed
tells the truth.”
The vampire obeys Victoria and bites
Mia’s wrist causing her to cry out in pain. When Victoria saw that she did not
die she knew the former fairy was indeed speaking the truth. For a moment she
felt sorry for Mia but it only lasted for a moment.
“You do know that if anyone enters
the cave they instantly become my property and only I decide what will become
of them, right?” asked Victoria.
“I heard of something like this
going on here,” said Mia, “Are you saying I must join the clan.”
“Not necessary,” said Victoria, “but
are you interested.”
“If it can get me revenge on the
fairy who did this to me then yes I am,” said Mia.
“How do you suppose you can get
revenge on the fairy who did this?” asked the queen.
“Once I’m turned, I will have to
drink to complete the transition, am I correct?” she asked.
“That’s right,” said the queen.
“Well,” said Mia, “I’ll trick her
into becoming a witch and then I’ll kill her by drinking her blood.”
“I like that idea,” said the queen,
“she was the one behind stealing my genie. I guess she’s been freed from the
bottle by now.”
“Actually,” said Mia, “I think
Martha plans on using her to steal the crown from her sister.”
“Wait,” said the queen, “she’s the
sister of the Fairy Queen?”
“That’s right,” said Mia, “and if
the queen’s granddaughter becomes a vampire queen then Martha is next in line
to become the queen if something were to happen to her sister.”
“And killing her would prevent that
right?” asked the vampire queen.
“I believe so,” said Mia, “yes.”
“Well then this is what we will do,”
said the queen.
The Fairy Realm…[U2]
A portal opens and Mary passes
through. She sees the bottle sitting on the table and proceeds to fly over to
it and picks it up.
“Time to give you your freedom old
friend,” she said until she notices the lid is gone.
She looks inside and does not see
Jessica inside.
“That’s strange,” said Mary, “she’s
not in her bottle. That can only mean one thing.”
“What would that be?” asked a voice,
“could it be possible that she’s already been free?”
“Actually,” said Mary, “yeah that is
one possibility. Not the one I was thinking but it could be one”
“Too bad it’s not the reason the
bottle is empty,” said the voice, “because otherwise I would be able to resist
doing this.”
Suddenly Mary’s crown is removed
from her head stripping her of her fairy form and turning her completely human.
“What just happen here?” asked Mary.
“You have been stripped of both your
fairy form and the crown,” said another voice, “Now Jessica, bring me the crown
so I can take my rightful place on the throne of this realm.”
“Martha?” asked Mary, “did you do
what I think you just did?”
“Yes, Mary,” said Martha, “I did. I
took your crown away from you and now as the queen of this realm, I making a
lot of changes. For one any human caught in this realm must serve 10 years as
my personal slave.
“What?” asked Mary, who then
realizes something, “wait a minute. I have Jessica’s bottle in my hand. You’re
not her master. I am. Jessica, I command you to return my crown to me!”
Jessica does nothing.
“Jessica, as your new master,” said
Mary, “I command you to return to me my crown.”
Jessica still does nothing.
“What’s going on?” asked Mary, “I
have your bottle in my hand. I’m your master.”
“Uh,” said Martha, “No, you’re not.
I am still her master. That’s not her bottle. This is.”
Martha reveals another bottle to
Mary.
“Jessica return to the bottle,”
commanded Martha.
Jessica becomes a puff of pink smoke
and enters the bottle in Martha’s hand and the lid is put on top.
“Now about you Mary,” said Martha,
“since I said all humans in this realm must serve me 10 years as my slave I
guess you will be the first.”
She throws fairy dust on Mary
placing her in raggy clothes.
“Why are you doing this?” asked
Mary.
“Because I should have been given
the crown to begin with,” said Martha, “I made all the highest grades at fairy
school. I graduated with honors. If I had been born the oldest I would have had
the crown to begin with but you were born first so the crown had to go to you.”
“Martha,” said Mary, “I didn’t
really want the crown to begin with. But once I got it I started to enjoying it
and now I want it back.”
Martha sprinkles dust on Mary and
has her freeze in one spot.
“You know,” said Martha, “Maybe I
must rather have a reminder in my room of who my predecessor was so Mary turn
to stone.”
“No, Martha, please don’t do this,”
said Mary, “this spell will kill me if not reversed in 24 hours.”
“I know,” said Martha with an evil
smile.
Mary slowly begins to turn to stone.
She didn’t try to fight it because it was no use. Finally, it was completed and
Mary was a stone statue. Martha pleased with herself places the genie bottle
down by the throne and goes and picks up the statue of her sister to carry her
to her quarters. While she was gone a couple of fairies who were in the room
noticed the bottle was unattended. They
fly over to it.
“Are you thinking what I’m
thinking?” asked one of the fairies.
“If it will give our queen her crown
back,” said the other fairy, “then yes I am.”
The first fairy picks up the bottle
and takes off the top. Jessica comes out as a puff of pink smoke.
“I am the genie of the bottle,” said
Jessica, “you are now my new master. Any wish you have I shall grant as long as
it does not mean causing someone to die.”
“Well Jessica,” said the first
fairy, “I wish for Mary to be returned to her throne as the rightful queen of
the fairies.”
