Bite Me v.7 Chapter 6 Part 2

“My young child,” said a voice.

            “Yes?” asked Katherine.

“I am so glad you embraced who you are so quickly,” said the voice, “My name is Michelle and I am a queen of the vampires. And to be more specific, I am your queen. When the time is right a call will be put out for all of my vampires to come and serve me so be ready. But be careful for those who want to slay you. They are a tricky sort and will stop at nothing to weaken me so I too can be destroyed. Do you understand what I am saying?”

            “Yes, my queen,” said Katherine.

As soon as she was done speaking to Katherine, Michelle’s eyes turned normal and she went back to sleep only to seconds later wake up.

“Wow,” she whispered, “what a weird dream.”

            She goes back to sleep.

Michelle is walking to her next class when a girl she doesn’t particularly like approaches her.

“Well hello Michelle,” said the girl, “I’m surprised to see you in school today.”

            “Why’s that?” asked Michelle.

“Why I heard you were in the hospital all weekend,” said the girl.

“Why would I be in the hospital?” asked Michelle.

“Giving birth of course,” said the girl.

“Athena,” said Michelle, “I’m only 14 years old and I assure you I have never had sex.”

“Wow,” said Athena, “Such denial is not good for your health you know.”

            “Athena,” said Michelle, “Shut up.”

            Immediately, Athena closes her mouth.

“What no retort like ‘you can’t tell me to shut-up!’?” asked Michelle.

            No answer.

            “Well answer me!” demanded Michelle.

“You told me to shut up,” said Athena.

“And when have you ever listened to what I have told you?” asked Michelle.

“I uh...” stuttered Athena trying to come up with an answer.

            The tardy bell rings…

“Great,” said Michelle, “you’ve made me late to class, now.”

“I did,” said Athena, “that means you are going to be in trouble with the principal. Oh boy, I’m so happy. This just made my day.”

“Was this your plan all along?” asked Michelle, “And tell me the truth.”

“Of course it was,” said Athena, “I can’t get through the day without making your life miserable.”

“Then you wouldn’t mind telling my teacher that,” said Michelle.

“Of course not,” said Athena who was unaware that she was being manipulated by an evil inside of her that was connected to Michelle soon to be exposed evil identity.

“Then follow me,” said Michelle as she heads down the hall to her first class.

When she enters she immediately apologizes for being late but the teacher won’t have it and says she will have to go to the principal’s office for an excuse.

“It was my fault,” said Athena, “I purposely kept her in the hall so she wouldn’t make it by final bell.”

“Really, Athena,” said the teacher, “And why are you so willing to admit that?”

“I don’t know,” she said, “Principal’s office now! Michelle have a seat.”

Athena exits the classroom looking at Michelle for help.

“Why are you looking at me?” asked Michelle, “this was your fault now go!”

            She leaves.

Michelle was putting on her swimsuit when Athena enters the dressing room.

“Michelle,” she asked, “why did I confess to that this morning?”

            “Confess to what?” asked Michelle.

“Confessing to making you late to your first class,” said Athena.

“Oh that,” said Michelle, “honestly, I don’t know why you did that. Guilty conscious?”

“I don’t think so,” said Athena, “Would have to have a conscious to ever feel guilty?”

            “Do you?” asked Michelle.

“Ever feel guilty?” asked Athena, “no.”

“No,” said Michelle, “I mean do you have a conscious?”

“I guess I do,” said Athena, “I just never use it.”

“Are you going to apologize for keeping me late this morning?” asked Michelle.

            “No,” said Athena.

“Then do something for me real quick anyway,” said Michelle.

            “What?” asked Athena.

            “Never mind,” said Michelle.

Michelle was doing her laps while Athena was sitting a poolside laughing at her.

“You are a terrible swimmer Michelle,” she shouted, “You have no business being in the pool.”

Michelle grabs a ladder climbs out and walks over to Athena. Dripping wet in front of her she says, “You really think you can do better?”

“I know I can,” said Athena.

“Then do me a favor,” said Michelle.

            “What?” asked Athena.

“Go jump into the deep in of the swimming pool and swim the length twice,” said Michelle.

“But I’m in my cheerleading outfit,” said Athena, “I need this on for tryouts next period. I even have permission not to participate in this class today because of tryouts.

“Just do it!” said Michelle in a commanding tone as her eyes suddenly turned black.

Athena immediately does as she is told and seconds later there is a huge splash in the deep end of the swimming pool as she begins to do two laps while wearing her cheerleading outfit. The other students watch as she does this not sure as to why she suddenly did this.

“Athena!” cried the coach as the girl climbs out of the pool.

“Why did you just do that for?” asked the coach.

“I was told too,” said Athena.

“By who?” asked the coach looking at the other students who all shook their heads.

“It was her!” exclaimed Athena, “She told me to jump into the swimming pool.”

            Michelle!” yelled the coach.

            “Yes, coach?” asked Michelle.

“Did you tell Athena to jump into the pool?” asked the coach.

“Yes, I did but I didn’t think she would actually do it,” said Michelle.

“She did it to get revenge on me for making her late to first period this morning,” said Athena.

“Speaking of which,” said Michelle, “What did the principal say to you about that?”

“She gave me a warning because of who my parents are,” said Athena.

“Who are your parents?” asked Michelle.

“Zeus and Hera,” said Athena who then busted out laughing, “I just realized how ridiculous that sounded.”

“What’s your last name? Olympus?” asked Michelle.

“Yeah kind of,” said Athena, “It’s Olym.”

“And you have a brother name Ares I bet,” said Michelle.

“Actually,” said Athena, “I’m an only child.”

“Get out of here,” said Michelle.

Athena still soaking wet from being in the pool walks away from the group and heads to the door.

“Hey!” yelled the coach, “where do you think you are going?”

“She told me to get out of here,” said Athena, “So I’m getting out of here.”

“Okay,” said the coach, “I don’t know what game you two are playing but I’m giving you both afternoon detention. Show up after school promptly at 3:00 or you both are going to be in serious trouble. Understand?”

“Yes, sir,” said Athena who then proceeds to walk out of the swimming pool area.

“Athena,” said the coach, “Get back in here or its immediate detention!”

“I’m sorry coach but I can’t,” said Athena, “She tells me to do something and then I do it.”

Is that so?” thought Michelle, “Hey Athena, stop.”

            Athena stops.

            “Jump!” instructed Michelle.

            Athena jumps.

Cluck like a chicken,” said Michelle as she begins to laugh as Athena obeys her every command.

Wow,” thought Michelle, “I didn’t know controlling others was vampire hunter skill. I’m going to love controlling the most power girl in the school.”

“Athena stop right now!” demanded the coach.

            Athena kept on clucking.

“Alright,” said the coach grabbing the young teenage girl’s arms and forcing her to stop hurting her in the process.

“Ah!” she cries, “Stop squeezing my arms so tight.”

“I’m barely holding you,” said the coach.

“But it still hurts,” said the girl.

She then begins to gasp for breath.

“Help!” she says, “I can’t breathe.”

The second however when the coach let go the girl began to start clucking again. While all of this was going on the school principal who had met with Athena that morning was watching all of this play out.

The girl has Michelle’s blood in her,” she thought, “that is why she is controlling her so easily. We need to prevent this girl from becoming a vampire so Michelle does not grow in power.”

She turns around and touches her forehead and becomes a fairy and then calls forth a portal that leads to another realm. She passes through it. And it closes behind her.
