Fairy Realm…[U1]
“If
I am ever going to become Fairy Queen,” thought Martha, “It is going to have to be me who is that
decoy. But I can’t be just a decoy but one who is a double agent.”
She flies out of the throne room
into her private chambers. She presses a button on a console and contacts the
Vampire Queen, Victoria.
“My queen,” said Wanda, “You summon
us?”
She bowed before Victoria alongside
her daughter Wendy.
“Actually, yeah,” said the queen, “I
have. I pretty sure you have a very high need for blood right now.”
“Actually,” said Wendy, “I do. I can
barely stand it.”
“Good,” said Victoria, “that just
means you are ready to complete your transformation.”
“We don’t have to go out and feed do
we?” asked Wanda, “My husband and I believe in peace and have always led our
people in that believe and raised Wendy to believe in peace.”
“If you really believe in peace then
why did you turn me into a blood-sucking monster?” asked Wendy.
“Wendy,” said Victoria, “Treat your
mother with respect.”
“Yes, my queen,” said Wendy in an
obedient voice.
“No, Wanda,” said Victoria, “you
will not have to go out and feed. You will do that right here in the cave.”
“But there are nothing but vampires
in this cave,” said Wanda.
“Actually, that is not true,” said
Judy who just entered the cave, “If everyone will follow me, I will lead you to
where you can have your first taste of genuine human blood.”
Wanda and Wendy follow Judy out of
the throne room just as Martha flies through a portal in an attempt to retrieve
the genie bottle. Victoria immediately senses the presence of the fairy and
presses a button on her throne that depressurizes the throne room. Martha, who
can’t breathe in her fairy form when there is no air, immediately passes out
and begins to fall to the ground. Her tiny fairy body becomes visible because
she needs to be conscious in order to remain invisible.
“Well what do we have here?” asked
Victoria who picks up the genie bottle and opens it releasing Jessica.
“Master,” said the genie, “what wish
may I grant you?”
“Put this fairy in a very tight
crystal sphere with just enough holes in it to allow her to breathe,”
instructed Victoria.
“Yes, Master,” said Jessica.
Seconds later…
Martha begins to wake up and she
immediately realizes that she is trapped in a sphere. She does everything she
can to escape but with the limited amount of air in the sphere all using magic
did for her was weaken her more. But she still was able to communicate
everyone.
“Tell me fairy,” said Victoria,
“what is your name?”
“Martha,” said Victoria.
“Oh yeah,” said Victoria, “You’re
the one who called me earlier about you pulling a double cross on your people
so you could become their queen. Is that right?”
“That’s right,” said Martha, “will
you please release me from this sphere?”
“Well I can’t do that,” said
Victoria.
“Why not?” asked the fairy.
“Because I don’t know for sure if
you are really going to double cross your people or if you are going to double
cross me,” said the queen of the vampires.
“I told you I was going to double
cross my people,” said Martha.
“And how are you going to do that?”
asked the queen.
“By telling you that someone is
stealing the genie’s bottle right now!” shouted Martha.
“What?” asked the queen who turns
around and sees the genie’s bottle floating up into the air toward a portal.
“My home!” exclaimed the genie,
“Master, please do something, if that bottle leaves the cave without me in it,
I’ll become powerless.”
“Quickly Jessica return to your
bottle,” instructed Victoria.
Jessica becomes a puff of smoke and
heads for the bottle with cap following her just as it enters the portal. As
soon as the portal closes the sphere surrounding Martha busted open and she was
free to use her dust again.
“I guess you’re right Queen
Victoria,” she said, “I was really going to double cross you.”
She creates a portal and exits the
cave leaving Queen Victoria very puzzled.

The

“Quickly, contact the queen at once
and tell them we have possession of the genie bottle,” said Martha.
From
inside the bottle…
Jessica had made it inside the
bottle safely with the cap on before it went through the portal. But despite
being away from the Vampire Queen she still felt loyalty to her because the
queen was still the last one to touch the bottle.
“What’s
going on, I wonder? Am I about to have a new master? Will I finally be free
from this curse? Who exactly took my bottle and why and will they make me do
good things or evil things?” she asked herself.
The
Fairy Realm…
Martha was sitting on the throne
looking at the bottle which had landed safely on a nearby table.
