Bite Me v.7: Chapter 5: Part 3 of 3

Present time; Clearing...

The sister witches were in pursuit of Julie, the vampire, whose body they still want to burn on their altar so her soul can give them additional magical power but when she passed through the entrance to the outside world they hesitated in their pursuit.

“Should we continue?” asked Mindy, “I mean doing so may mean instant capture by some ‘genie making’ warlocks.

“It’s a risk we have to take if we want to protect ourselves from those warlocks,” said Melissa, “plus, if it weakens her queen before she can come to full power, that would be great, too.”

Agreeing with Melissa on that idea, the twins followed their older sister out of the clearing. And sure enough as soon as they took a step out of the clearing a warlock appears out of nowhere and began following them. Julie stopped and turned around and saw that warlocks were chasing her pursuers.

So it seems they are in a real predicament,” thought Julie, “If the warlock catches up to them they’re be made genies for sure

She purposely goes into a dark alley and the witches stupidly follow and so do the warlocks.

“Oh Julie,” said Melissa, “We know you went this way. We saw it ourselves. Now after telling you not to break the bond that held you down you did anyway. Why is that?”

            No response.

“You’re not going to answer me?” asked Melissa, “Very well as soon as we find you we’ll just drive a stake through your heart and do you know what happens to vampires when stakes are driven into their hearts? Hmm?”

            No response.

“You don’t know?” she asked, “Well I’ll tell you. They die and if they die the queen you serve under will become weaken. Now come out now so this can get over really quick.”

“Actually Melissa,” said Mindy, “they don’t…”

            “Shut up Mindy,” said Melissa.

“I believe Mindy is right,” said a voice, “Vampires don’t die they are just immobilized until sunrise then they die.”

            “Who said that?” asked Melissa.

The voice made himself known to Melissa.

            “Ah! A Genie-maker!” screamed Melissa.

“That’s right!” said the voice, “And look what I have here in my hands. Why it is two genie bottles. I wonder what or should I say who is inside.”

He removes the lids of the bottles and two puffs of smoke come out of them and they take the shape of two girls. They were Mindy and Mandy, Melissa’s younger twin sisters.

“Oh no,” said Melissa, “How? They were right with me when I entered this dark alley.”

“Yes, they were,” said the genie-maker, “but they had already been made genies by that point.”

            “When?” asked Melissa.

“Right after they exited the clearing,” said the genie-maker, “It wasn’t that much of a problem really. You may have been a weak witch yourself but you are stronger and faster than your sisters which is why making you will be so much fun. And once you are in this bottle here, I will have control of your entire coven.”

“Please,” said Melissa, “don’t do this I beg you.”

“I’m sorry,” said the warlock, “It is my vow to make all witches I meet into genies and you are a witch so…”

As he begins the incantation Julie comes out of hiding and attacks Melissa from behind biting her in the neck killing her instantly and absorbing her powers.

“No,” said the warlock, “she’s dead and now I can’t have control of her coven.”

            He looks at the vampire.

“You were very brave to do that vampire,” said the warlock, “you have witch’s magic in you now and although you think that might mean you can do  anything you like but you can’t. Witch’s magic is very limited by something called personal gain. I’ll be careful if I was you. Oh and good luck getting out of here without the sun burning you to crisp.”

“Uh,” said Julie, “I belong to a queen so the sun won’t hurt me.”

“Oh is that a fact,” said the warlock, “then that means that she too has witch’s magic in her and if I slay her I will finally obtain all the magic of this coven.”

With that he disappears leaving Julie to be puzzled as to what just happened.

The Van Helsing Mansion…

Michelle had come out of her trance having no memory of it whatsoever. Feeling really tired, she goes to bed.

Preview of Chapter Six…

Saturday Night at 8 P.M.; Basement of Kevin’s Mansion:

Katherine wakes up on top of the bodies of a dozen other young girls. She immediately grabs her chest to check her gunshot womb and finds it gone.

“That’s strange,” she says, “I know I was shot in the heart. I should be dead right now.”

She looks around and sees she is on top of something. She jumps down and a distinct odor starts to get her.

“What is that smell?” she asks.

She looks at what she just jumped off of and realizes that it was a pile of dead bodies.

“Whoa,” she said, “These dead bodies stink like crazy and I was on the top? That can only mean one thing. I was indeed dead. But why am I alive now? Or am I. Could it be that I was brought back to life? But how?”

She sees a staircase that leads up above her and she decides to follow them. She comes to a door and finds it is lock. She tries with all her might to force it open and find difficulty doing so.

8 hours later…

After a long time of trying she finally opens it and then she walks through it.

            “Hello?” she asks, “anybody home?”

Kevin and Kimberly come running when they hear the voice.

            “Impossible!” said Kevin in shocked.
