Second location…[U1]
The vampire trio each began to burn
to ashes too and as they burn they began to scream.
“Ah!” cried Michelle as she began to
feel pain in her chest, “What’s happening to me?”
David and Mary come running up to
her room.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?” asked
Mary.
“It’s my chest,” said Michelle, “I
felt this strange burning sensation inside like a part of me was set on fire.”
David looks at his wife and she
looks at him. They both nod confirming that it could only be one thing.
Michelle had slayed members of her own clan the night before and now that their
bodies were burning away to ash she was feeling their deaths because they were
indeed a part of her.
“Please make it stop!” she cried.
But just as soon as it started it
did stop.
“Wow,” she said, “it did stop.”
“Are you sure you are alright?”
asked Mary.
“Yeah,” said Michelle, “I’m fine.”
“Okay, then,” said Mary, “you get up
and ready for school while I go and fix breakfast.”
“Okay, mom,” said Michelle.
They exit the room.
In the kitchen…[U3]
“Is there some way when she is out
there hunting and slaying vampires that she can detect which ones are loyal to
her and she shouldn’t slay without telling her that she is a vampire queen and
some vampires would be loyal to her and their deaths would harm her?” asked
Mary.
“Well you are the queen of the
fairies,” said David, “you could sprinkle dust on her to make her aware that
some vampires she should avoid slaying because they are connected to her
somehow but not know why they are connected to her.”
“I like that idea,” said Mary who
touches the gem on her crown and resumes her fairy form.
She flies up to Michelle’s room and enters
in invisible mode and sprinkles dust on her beloved granddaughter.
“Know who you sure slay my child but
never know why,” she whispered.
