Kevin’s family
mansion…
Kevin walks in carrying Katherine
who was still passed out.
“Put her in the chair and tie her
up,” instructed his mother.
“Yes, mam,” said Kevin who proceeds
to do just that.
Once Katherine was secured in the
chair, Kevin’s mom came over to her and slapped her across the face. This woke
her up rather quickly.
“What’s going on?” asked a groggy
Katherine who has yet to realize she’s all tied up.
She looks up and sees Kevin’s mom.
“Kimberly,” she said. “Why do you
have me tied up? Did I do something wrong?”
“No,” said Kimberly, “you didn’t do
anything wrong but you witness Kevin doing something wrong which means you can
help put him away for a long time. That is unless you marry him. A wife cannot
be forced to testify against her husband.”
“I’m sorry but I broke up with Kevin
because I did witness him doing something wrong and I don’t want to have
anything to do with that,” said Katherine.
“Well,” said Kimberly, “You don’t
have much choice. Marry Kevin and become part of the family or…”
“Or what?” asked Katherine.
“You die,” said Kimberly, pulling
out a gun.
Katherine gasps when she sees the
gun pointing at her. She looks at Kimberly then at Kevin then at Kimberly again
and quickly closes her eyes.
“Uh Katherine,” said Kevin, “what
are you doing?”
“Waiting to be shot,” she said.
“If you insist,” said Kimberly who
was about to pull the trigger when Kevin stops her.
“Mom, wait,” he said, “she never said
whether she would marry me or not.”
“Isn’t the answer obvious?” asked
Kimberly, “She is waiting to be shot. That should tell you something.”
“At least let her say it herself
that she does not want to marry me,” said Kevin, “if she says no then go ahead
and shoot her.”
“Alright,” said Kimberly,
“Katherine, will you marry Kevin and join our family business.”
“May I have some time to think about
this?” asked Katherine.
“Sure,” said Kimberly pulling the
gun away only to point it back at her, “time’s up.”
“Please,” said Katherine, “I need
more time than that. Can you give me 24 hours to make a decision?”
“You will be given 6,” said
Kimberly, “Kevin, untie her and throw her into one of the guest rooms and close
the door. Put armed guards there in case she tries to escape and instruct them
to kill her if she does try to escape.”
“Yes, mam,” said Kevin.
He does as he is told. When he
returns to the living room Kimberly confronts him.
“I do not want a murder on my hands
unless it is absolutely necessary,” said Kimberly, “So instruct those guards to
go in the room with Katherine and beat her every hour on the hour for the next
six. Then I want her brought before me and I’ll make her a new offer. Her wombs
will be treated and her life spared if she agrees to marry you. If she refuses
she’ll die. Understand?”
“Yes, mam,” said Kevin.
“Oh and Kevin,” she says as he turns
to go to the room where Katherine is being held, “I want to let you know that
your father would be very proud of you right now.”
“Thank you,” said Kevin who then
proceeds to do what his mother told him to.
The Forest
Clearing…
Mindy draws the pentagram on Julie’s
chest while chanting something in Latin. Mandy then carves the same symbol
causing Julie to bleed. The blood flows down her body to the urn underneath the
altar that then releases a beam of light. This causes Julie who is now in a
trance to glow. When the glow glimmers
down some, Melissa takes the same knife and lunges it into Julie’s chest cavity
where the heart resides thus killing her instantly. The time of death was 2:00
in the morning.
Michelle’s
bedroom…
At this exact time Michelle suddenly
awakens and shoots up in the bed. Her eyes are a very dark color and she too is
in a trance.
“My rise to power has begun,” she
said before laying back down and going back to sleep.
Preview of Chapter Five:
Kevin’s
Mansion; 8:00 A.M….
Kimberly walks into the room holding
Katherine with Kevin right behind her. She was holding the same gun in her hand
she pointed at Katherine the night before. She points it at a bruised-up from
multiple beatings young woman. Katherine could barely move to face Kimberly.
“Well” said Kimberly, “your time is
up. Will you marry my son?”
“If this is the life that is
expected of me by marrying your son then I rather be dead,” said Katherine.
“I’ll take that as a no,” said
Kimberly.
“Bang!” came a sound from the gun as
Katherine collapses completely on the floor and dies.
“What do we do with her mother?”
asked Kevin.
“Clean her up and then throw her
body in the junk pile with all the other girls who once refused to marry you,”
instructed Kimberly.
