Inside the cave…
When she arrives inside the cave she
enters the center and bows before Victoria.
“Do you have something to report?”
asked Victoria.
“Yes, mam,” said the nurse, “I have
it right here.”
“Good,” said Victoria, “we can now
go on with phase two of my plan.”
“And how do you plan on making
hundreds of people need blood transfusions?” asked the nurse.
“What big event is coming up in the
near future that a lot people will participate in?” asked Victoria.
“I don’t know,” said the nurse,
“Graduation isn’t until next month. There will usually be a huge gathering of
people then.”
“But with everything going on in the
real world,” said Victoria, “it wouldn’t be wise to stage an ‘accident’ of some
kind there.”
“Well there is some kind of a group
gathering going on,” said the nurse.
“A group gathering,” repeated the
queen, “that would be a perfect place to attack. No one would be expecting it
especially coming from vampires.”
“But my queen,” said the nurse, “we
can’t just enter a tent used for something like that. It’s dangerous for
vampires to enter those kinds of environments.”
“But that doesn’t mean we can’t
cause the tent to collapse and if that were to happen,” said Victoria,
“Injuries are bound to happen and injuries could mean the need for blood as in
Michelle’s vampire blood.”
“The last meeting is tonight,” said
the nurse, “Should I prepare this to be transfused into anyone who may be
injured?”
“Yes,” said Victoria, “you prepare
the blood for the transfusion process. Someone else can cause the ‘accident’
and find the location for the blood to be transfused into the injured.”
“Why not in our very own blood donor
clinic?” asked the nurse, “That is why you ‘turned me’ so you could have an
actual nurse to do this task. Please, my queen, don’t tell me I died and became
a blood sucking monster for nothing.”
“Alright,” said Victoria, “We can
use our clinic. And no, your transformation was not for nothing.”
“Thank you my queen,” said the
nurse.
She exits the cave’s center room and
enters an elevator that takes her into a building that is built above the cave.
This building has been own by Victoria’s family for years. And it has many
different ventures in it and a clinic on the first floor is just one of them.
Back in the cave…
The queen picks up the genie’s
bottle and removes the cork and a puff of pink smoke comes out. The smoke takes
the shape of Jessica who looks up to Victoria.
“What can I do for you my queen?”
she asked.
“I want you to go to the location of
the group gathering and make sure there is an accident of some kind that will
cause dozens of people to become injured,” said Victoria, “Preferably one where
the tent itself collapses on top of people.”
“My queen,” said Jessica, “I can’t
grant wishes that inflict death on people.”
“I’m not asking for them to die,”
said Victoria, “Just to be injured to the point where a blood transfusion is
needed.”
“I understand,” said Jessica, “I
will implement your wish right away.”
She vanishes in a puff of pink smoke.
“It won’t be long now,” Victoria
said quietly, “It won’t be long at all.”
6:00 That night
at a local group gathering…
A group of about 500 people were chanting
when suddenly…
Boom!
The top of the tent being held up by
metal poles collapse causing injuries to many people. Fortunately, there were
people in place to quickly get these people to the emergency room for
treatment. Unfortunately, the emergency room was strangely all out of blood.
“I don’t understand,” said the
doctor on duty, “What happen to all of our blood?”
“I don’t know sir,” said the in
charge nurse, “It was in stock just one hour ago. I know because I checked it
myself.”
“These people need blood now,” said
the doctor, “is there a blood donor clinic open somewhere?”
“Actually,” said the nurse, “there
is. But it is located in that tall building in the center of town.”
“We need to transport 250 people to that clinic pronto,”
said the doctor, “Any ideas?”
“I do have one,” said the nurse, “Do
you believe in supernatural forces?”
“Uh, well,” said the doctor, “I’ve
seen my share of a miracle or two in the operating room so yeah I believe in
supernatural forces.”
“Good,” said the nurse, “just give
me a minute or two and I will have these people at the clinic in a flash.”
She pulls out a cell phone and
presses a button.
In the cave
center room…
“Hello?” asked a voice.
“Victoria,” said the nurse, “This is
Sarah. We have 250 people in need of being transportation to the clinic.”
“Oh really,” said Victoria, “And
just how do you plan on getting them there.”
“Well I hope you would have solution
inside of a bottle,” said Sarah.
“Oh,” said Victoria, “yes, I could
have her do it.”
“Thank you my queen,” said Sarah.
Victoria hangs up her phone and
looks at the bottle sitting next to her throne. And once again she pops the
cork and a puff of pink smoke comes out.
“Hello my queen,” said Jessica, “How
may I serve you?”
“250 people need instant
transportation to the clinic up stairs,” said Victoria.
“250 people?” asked Jessica, “my
queen, permission to leave the cave so I can see the exact people in need of
transportation?”
“Permission granted,” said Victoria.
