Bite Me v.7 Chapter 17 Part 3 of 3

Having closed her eyes and concentrated, Michelle’s appearance suddenly changes. She then opens them to reveal they have turned completely black.

All vampires who have my blood in them, come to my location immediately,” she called with her thoughts.

Athena was in her room studying when her eyes suddenly turned black and her appearance changed. She gets up out of her chair and walks over to a window and opens it. She climbs out and jumps to the ground receiving no harm from the fall.

Susan awakes from her bed and gets up and heads for a window and climbs out.

Two roommates get up from watching a movie and exit their home leaving it available for thieves to come as they please.

During a basketball game, several people including coaches, players, and referees began exiting the gym.

As the clan gathers in front of the cave, Michelle stands there to greet them.

“Welcome, my children,” said Michelle, “I’m sure a lot of you have questions as to why you suddenly had to leave your lives to come here but your loyalty to me forced you to come. I appreciate you coming without hesitation. That being said, we have a lot to work to do. Inside the cave, there are stone statues of your future brothers and sisters in the clan. It will take all of us to free them from this spell.”

There is a moment of silence where the vampires murmur amongst themselves.

“You are probably wondering how we can do this and I have an answer for you,” said Michelle, “One of you when you first became a vampire killed a witch on a night like this, with a full moon, and doing so gave you her gift of magic and that was transferred into me and then into each and every one of you. So let’s each go inside and stand in front of a stone statue and focus our collective energies to break this spell.”

The hundreds of vampires followed Michelle inside.

            An alarm goes off.

“What’s going on?” asked a voice.

“Sir,” said another voice, “Another Vampire Queen has called her clan together and sir it’s the one we have feared the most.”

“Michelle Van Helsing?” asked the first voice.

“That is correct,” said the second voice, “It looks like the prophecy is being fulfilled sir. And the world is in danger because of it.”

“Not if I can help it,” said the first voice.

“But sir,” said the second voice, “she is the granddaughter of the Fairy Queen. We can’t just go and find and kill her.”

“Oh yes we can,” said the first voice, “Oh yes we can.”

Still in chains Wanda and her daughter Wendy, the true heir to the throne of Atlantis are thrown before the girl sitting on the throne as queen, Whitney, Wendy’s younger sister.

“Welcome vampires,” said Whitney, “Have you found your accommodations appealing?”

“Stop the small talk sis and give up the throne and crown right now,” ordered Wendy.

“Uh no,” said Whitney, “I can’t do that. The council has ruled that if you die, you are no longer eligible to be crown queen of Atlantis and guess what vampire you are dead.”

“But I am still the rightful heir,” said Wendy, “My mom was married to the king and I was born first. You are nothing more than the daughter of a maid who tricked dad into sleeping with her a couple of times.”

“Dad was the one who instruct the council to put me on the throne before he died,” said Whitney, “they followed dad’s orders.”

“Dad was scared and contacting the council is what killed him,” said Wendy.

“Wait, what?” asked Whitney, “you were there when dad died?”

“We both were,” said Wanda, “now do as my daughter says and give her the crown.”

“I’m sorry,” said Whitney, “but as far as I and the council are concerned, my sister and her mom were killed months ago and therefore I became eligible to crown queen.            Now you may look like them and sound like them but what you are is two monsters indwelling in their corpses. But I’m a generous person. Willard wants you dead. But I don’t. Agree to serve me in the palace and I’ll let you live. Don’t agree and I’ll allow Willard to stake your hearts.”

Wendy stands up, pulls off her chains and walks over to Willard. She removes his weapon and cuts her wrist. It begins to bleed.

“Now, you have 30 seconds to give up the crown or you will have another vampire to deal with,” said Wendy.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” said Whitney, “We’ll just lock him up for 24 hours until the vampire blood is gone.”

“Yeah,” said Wendy, “are you sure about that?”

            “Why?” asked Whitney.

“Because,” said Wendy, “this blood is still the queen’s blood. If I feed him he will turn the instant he dies no matter if it is within the next 24 hours or not. It’s your choice.”

“I’m calling your bluff on that big sis,” said Whitney, “Go ahead feed him the blood then after 24 hours you can kill him and if he comes back as a vampire, I’ll gladly give you the throne.”

“My queen,” said Willard, “Why? I don’t want to die.”

“Don’t worry,” said Whitney, “like all vampires, she’s lying. The blood there isn’t queen’s blood so you want come back.”

“But my queen,” said Willard, “I’ll still be dead.”

“I know,” said Whitney, “and you are an excellent chief guard but everyone has to make sacrifices for the good of the kingdom and that includes you now drink that blood!”

            “Yes, my queen,” said Willard.

“And what if he does come back,” said Wanda.

“He won’t,” said Whitney, “I guarantee it.”

Willard drinks the blood flowing from Wendy’s wrist.

“Now Willard escort these two back to the dungeon and place them back into their cells and choose one for yourself for the next 24 hours,” said Whitney.

“That won’t be necessary,” said Wendy who immediately breaks his neck causing him to collapse and die.”

“You just murdered my chief guard,” said Whitney.

“No,” said Wendy, “I just turned my chief guard into a vampire. In exactly 12 hours, he’ll wake up ready to feed and I think you will be the perfect one to feed on.”

“Uh,” said Whitney, “Hello, vervain in my blood 24/7. There is no way he’ll be able to drink my blood and survive.”

“You know what I just remembered mom?” asked Wendy.

            “What’s that sweetie?” asked Wanda.

“Vampire blood in Atlantisians turns them human temporary and in our case and Willard’s, Vampire Queen’s blood does it permanently,” said Wendy, “Do you know what that means?”

            “What?” asked Wanda.

“It means that I shouldn’t have killed Willard by breaking his neck,” said Wendy, “I could have just bit him and drank his human vervain less blood.”

“That doesn’t make any sense,” said Whitney, “He’s still Atlantisian. I mean look at him.”

“Have you ever been to the human world?” asked Wanda.

            “No,” said Whitney.

“Then if you ever do go,” said Wendy, “you will be human too. Or at least look like it. Oh wait just because you look like a human doesn’t mean you are one. That means that just because Willard looks like an Atlantisian doesn’t mean he is.”

“But he is one,” said Whitney, “He was born one. He lived as one. He died as one.”

“So were we,” said Wendy, “we were born here and lived here. The only difference is we didn’t die here. And we were humans at the time we died and he was turned human before he died. So trying to claim we’re invaders is just your way of securing your claim to the throne which you didn’t have anyway because I was born first and my mom is the late King’s wife.”

“I’ve heard enough,” said Whitney, “I won’t all three taken to a dungeon cell. And at exactly 12 noon a stake is going to be placed into each of your hearts killing you instantly because of the time of day.”

“I don’t think the Atlantisians will go for that,” said Wanda, “I mean killing the true heir to the throne and me her mother. There’s going to be a riot!”

“Silence!” yelled Whitney, “I have spoken!”

The spell that turn people, suspected to have Michelle’s blood in them, to stone had been reversed thanks to the collective witchcraft magic of Michelle’s clan. The bodies of the victims collapsed to the ground as they each turned to normal. Now that she has them out of the way Michelle began decorating the cave and making it the way she wanted it. She even put a dungeon section in the cave to keep prisoners. For now each victim of the stone spell was placed in one so the clan could wait and see which ones wake up as vampires.

The Atlantisian Palace Execution chamber…

The bright sun came shining in the chamber where Wanda, Wendy and Willard, now a vampire, were standing. The people of Atlantis gathered together to watch these three vampires be executed for invading the kingdom. Their faces were covered so the people couldn’t see who they were.

“These two vampires,” said Whitney, “somehow managed to enter our land in order to make us one of them and they succeeded with this one. My fellow Atlantisians I beg you to ask for each of them to be staked in the heart immediately!”

“Do it!” shouted someone in the crowd, “We don’t want vampires terrorizing our homeland like they do the humans. That is why the atmosphere is 100% vervain and we look like this.”
