Saved by the Bell Season 2 Review Part 2

Okay, I’m back with another review of the Saved by the Bell series. This time is the remaining Season 2 episodes.

Episode 9: Miss Bayside (F)-

            In this episode, Screech is entered into the Miss Bayside Beauty Pageant. And he wins. It is basically another well-written episode. Jessie protests the pageant and gets Kelly to help. Zack bets Slater he can make anyone the winner and Slater chooses Screech. With help from Jessie, Screech is entered and he wins. Of course, Jessie, Slater, and Kelly all enter the pageant and due to a rumor started by Zack, everyone boos Slater and cheers for Screech which is why he wins.

Episode 10: Jessie’s Song (F)-

            This is a well-known episode. Jessie gets hook on caffeine pills. There is a huge Geometry test coming up and the girls have a chance to make it big in the music industry. All of this pressure causes Jessie to take the pills and it leads to a good lesson about taking drugs no matter if it is the legal of the counter kind or the illegal kind. All of them can be addictive.

Episode 11: 1-800-Crushed (F)-

            Zack starts a love advice hotline with Screech and Lisa. He then fires Lisa and begins to give bad advice. When he mixes up some calls that involve Kelly and her sister Nikki, he gets into some trouble that he needs Lisa’s help to get out of. Also, Slater and Jessie decide to go out.

Episode 12: Running Zack (F)-

            Zack has to complete a family tree project in order to compete in a track competition. He hurries through it and has to do it again. This leads him to make a new friend who dies and a dream of that friend leads him to compete in the track meet.

Episode 13: From Nurse to Worse-

            When Zack wants to go steady with Kelly, he meets the new school nurse and falls in love. He dumps Kelly only to find out the nurse is married and when he tries to get back with Kelly she tells him no.

            That is all of these episodes. I love them all except for the last one. That is because I did not see it when it first aired because I first saw it in repeats on a channel which ran it in syndication. I just don’t like it and that is all I am going to say about it or this season. Next up is Season 3 Part 1. It’s coming soon! Be sure to look for it.
