Saved by the Bell Season 3 Review Part 2

Okay, I am back with a review of more episodes of Saved by the Bell. This time another portion of Season 3 is receiving the review. This bunch comes from the second disk of the seasons 3 and 4 box set. It contains 6 episodes. I’ll talk about each episode and then my thoughts on them as a group.

Episode 7: The Game (F):

Zack wants a specific car. Mr. Carosi wants a winning volleyball team to beat North Beach. They make a deal. One that almost backfires when a new hire is injured and his replacement backs out (although you still see him playing a little bit later, weird). Stacy plays to keep them from having to forfeit for having few players (although they were a player short to begin with because they needed six and only had five. Lisa was a member and didn’t play). And the gang wins the game and Zack gets a car already gas.

Episode 8: Operation Zack (F):

All I have to say is stay away from Mr. Belding and a door when in the boys’ dressing room or you may have to have an operation on your knee, too. And don’t worry Screech has an uncle who is an attorney who can help you sue for the school (which is own by the school board). This is the gist of the episode.

Episode 9: 4th of July (F):

Members vs. Staff games; the Miss Liberty Pageant; and a dance preceding fireworks, what could possibly go wrong? Slater loses to Lisa in the obstacle course; Mr. Carosi and his buddy cheat in the wheel barrel race; Zack votes fairly in the Miss Liberty Pageant giving Kelly the win instead of Stacy who he actually likes. But all is forgiven when Kelly straightens Stacy out on not always believing what Screech tells her.

Episodes 10 and 11: The Wicked Step-brother Parts 1 and 2 (F):

I am doing these two together because they are a two parter and I want to condense this post as much as possible. Okay, Jessie’s mom gets married again and she gets a step-brother who is a worse schemer than Zack. But it isn’t his schemes that get Zack and Slater in trouble but their own but all ends well.”

Episode 12: Check Your Mate (F):

Screech is the star of the team, chess team that is and Zack and Slater use this to make themselves money but it almost gets their school disqualified from the All-City Chess Finals because of a bet Zack and Slater make with the Valley team. But in the end Screech wins even without his lucky beret.

I really love these episodes. Now in future posts I am going to explain what I would like to see in a Saved by the Bell reunion movie if they ever do one but leading up to that I am going to say I think Zack should be in advertising because he is an excellent promoter. Think about all the episodes in which he is selling or promoting something. That’s advertising. Well that is all I got to say about these episodes. I’ll be back soon with the last bunch of Season 3 episodes and the Season 4 episodes.
