Update June 2025

It's been a while (almost six months) since my last post. Here is why. I am not going to be posting the story I was working on. There has been a change in plans. My story about the adventures of an organization called "Angels Inc." and its leader Alpha is being put on hold for now.

What happen was I got to the point in writing the story I didn't know where to go next. I had taken the first chapter which when hand-written was five chapters and it up being 104 parts long. The second chapter, which was originally chapter six, was not far behind that number. Now I was on chapter three, and I am not sure how long it would it up being. Because I couldn't figure out where to go next in the story, I stopped working on it one day and as the days go by, I began to lose interest in the idea and other ideas began to pop in my head. Also, my computer needed an update and all of the files I had opened to write this chapter had to be close and there were four of them. So, the story is now on hold.

What I am working on now is a new story that may include some of the ideas from this one so I may not even go back to this story or the one that preceded it. Now I am going to explained what my new story is all about. First, I am starting by creating an outline with all of ideas for it. Then I will begin writing the story itself hopefully following the outline I had created.

The story itself is about another universe where Earth exists, but things are different. This story will be an analogy of my faith in Jesus Christ. Things in my story will represent elements of my faith. I am a believer in Jesus Christ. I became one as a child around the age of 8. I want to write a story similar to the "Chronicles of Nardia". This universe is layout different than our own. We don't know how the universe is laid out due to our lack of space travel. So, I made one.

In this story, the universe at its very center is a cluster of stars called the "White Lights". Coming out of the center are sectors each filled with stars of a certain color. The universe is also divided into three areas. The first is the closest to the "White Lights" and is called the "Light Area". The second is in the middle and is called the "Grey Area". And the third is the farthest from the "White Lights" and is called the "Dark Area".  And behind that area surrounding each sector is the "Black Out".

In that first area, are planets with beings with special powers that are known in the universe as "Angels". They go out to the other planets to protect them from the beings from the "Black Out" who want nothing more than to corrupt and conquer the universe. These planets are at the border with the area with the "White Lights". Other planets in the first area have beings with special powers and they are trained by the "Angels" to help protect the universe.

Earth exists in the second area and its people are of special importance to the "White Lights". Its people are the most vulnerable to the corruption of the beings from the "Black out". Now having special powers are not just limited to the ones in the "Light Area". Although they are not born with them, the people of Earth and other planets in the "Grey Area" can be given powers from the beings of the "Light Area" or the "Dark Area".

Okay, what are the analogies in this story? That is probably the question that is on your mind right now. Well, the "people of Earth" in this story are representing the "Jewish People" as they are the "Chosen People" of the "White Lights". The "White Lights" themselves represent God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Now before anyone criticizes me of any of that last part, allow me to explain. This is a fictional story. None of it is real nor do I believe it could be. This is simply coming from my imagination. Instead of one planet being created with life, many planets were created with life. Each has its own culture. Many of these worlds will mirror the different cultures on our planet. The "Lights" will pick Earth to be the example they want for the universe much like God selected the nation of Isarael to be the example on Earth. Biblical events such as the "flood" and the "Tower of Babel" will happen but just not on Earth.

I haven't really gotten to the backstory yet in my outline. I am about to do the setting for it next and then the "mythology". This story will also have characters that are creatures from our many myths and legends from our many cultures. Some of these creatures will be good and others will be evil. And what they are and how they came to be will be revealed in my story. The beings from the "Black out" are the many demons out there who want to keep people away from the "Gospel of Jesus Christ". There is a leader of this group, and the identity of that leader will be revealed in the story.

Finally, and how I am going to go about to do this has not been decided yet but my story in the story is going to be written by a character who was given an assignment to write a "Fantasy story" without the use of "God" or "Jesus". What I haven't decided yet if what age this character will be. I will have that decided by the time I finished the outline.

I will update again if things change with this idea or if it makes it to the point I want to start posting it. And if things really go the way I hope then I might even post a promo for the first chapter of prologue. That is all for now.

I'm Back

Well after seven years of silence I am back, and a lot has happened in the last seven years. One, I had two more bouts with cancer. I had surgery to remove the tumors and am now five years cancer free. Two, my dad passed away 5 years ago. Three, my mom and I moved to another house. Four, all the shows I was reviewing seven years ago have now ended and shows that followed them are now over. Five, I have a new computer on which I am making this post. Six, I also have a new niece that was born five years ago.

So, I won't be doing reviews of TV shows or movies unless I just feel like I need to. What I will be doing is posting my latest writing project. I have gone back to handwriting my stories and the current project its "sixth chapter". I say that because each chapter is supposed to be a stand-alone story. Hand-written the first story arc is five chapters long. When I type it, there will only be one chapter with this story-arc's title. But I will break it down into "parts" and post them. Handwritten it was 200 pages long. I am betting that it will be shorter when typed. I will try various fonts to see what works as far as length. The sixth chapter I am currently working on will be changed to the second chapter and I will continue my current plan of making it several chapters long but combined into one chapter. When I post the first installment is unknown at the moment, but it is coming soon.

I don't know anything else to say in my post in seven years. I might post some kind of preview of the story when I have something ready but no guarantees. I will be starting that soon so look for the first installment sometime next year.

With nothing else to say,

Power Rangers 2017 Movie Review and updates

Well about an hour ago I was done watching the greatest Power Ranger Movie ever. No really I did. "Saban's Power Rangers" was a good movie. I loved it and I have no complaints about it at all. Is it the greatest movie of all time? No. But out of the three movies with this name it is the best. That fact cannot be argued.

I've known about this movie for three years. That was when it was announced. I was skeptical about there actually being one until where I first saw the announcement made it where you could always go for updated information. I'm a member of a forum called "Rangerboard" and that is where I first found out about it and when they made the thread sticky I knew there must be something to this. And now three years later and 7 threads of 300 pages the movie is out and it is good. I have been keeping up with everything about this movie and boy was that an experience. But that is not what this post is about.

The action scenes were great. And they weren't just the heroic actions scenes that were great. That was some of the misleading I got from reviews. I was led to believe that those were the only action scenes but they were not. At least in my opinion they were not. The car scenes count as action scenes as well and I loved them too.

I have read how this was strong on character development. I can see how and I wonder is this the way it is with most "origin stories". Single hero films like "Ironman" had a lot more action along with the origin story. But this film had a team of five kids to develop over the course of its timeframe so although I think there was a lot more action in the film that what is being told the "action" that would expect didn't happen until the end because these five characters had to be developed first. I figure if there are more movies then each of them may have a full plot center around one or two characters.

Now for each character: Jason, I think had the most development because he was red and the leader and had to be the one to bring the team together. Billy had great development too as did Kimberly. Trini and Zack lacked in that part but there was enough introduced about them that one can know who they are when they go see a sequel if there is one.

Zordon was a good character and his attitude was understandable considering the seriousness of the matter. And Alpha was good as well. And Rita was Rita which is what I would expect her to be.

Overall the movie was good in my opinion. I recommend everyone to go and see it and to go in with a clear head and not expecting it to be bad. And if you do anyway then you might just be surprised.

Okay, now for the updates:

I am still working at the same place for the last four months and loving it. I am still cancer free. I am enjoying my life right now and trying to live it for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

That is all for now.

Oh wait here is what you need to know about my writing projects. I am primarily focusing right now on Power Ranger Fan-fiction. "Rangerboard" in its "fanfic" section has my latest completed work. I am working on a sort-of sequel to it. When it will go up, I don't know. The link to Rangerboard is down below on this page. Original works for right now are on the backburner. I will get back to them someday and "From Witch to Witness" will be posted once the story is done. Unless I reboot it again.

Okay, for real that is all for now.

Fall 2016 Update

Well everyone,  I am back with another update of my life.

My health:

In my last post I said I have cancer. Since then I have had an MRI done that showed no signs of cancer in me. That didn't mean it wasn't there, it just showed there were no signs. And there was a possibility of it coming back. To prevent that, I had radiation treatments done during July and August. I am going to be having a follow up MRI on my birthday to see if there are any signs returning or anything of that nature. And I will be having a CT Scan of my chest too.

Due to all of these health issues I have been having this year, I applied and have been approved for disability payments. And because of the nature of my disability, I can also work full time while drawing disability. And I also got me a job. Now whether or not it will be full time I don't know. I will know more abut that next week. But it is a relief to know that I am going to be getting some income very soon. The only downside to this is the travel but hopefully I will get the morning shift and will still be able to travel during daylight hours.

Season Premiers:

Okay, I am going to be lumping all the premiers together into this one post. Really it is going to be a review of the season up to date for each show rather than just the premieres themselves because each show will have aired two to three or more episodes by the date of this post. And I am starting with the shows according to the day of the week the air.

Once Upon a Time:

This show continues to amaze me. I was thinking that it was close to time for it to just end that they could not tell anymore story but that is exactly what has happen this season with the introduction of the "Aladdin" story. And they have gone back and did some more backstory for Cinderella which was nice. And they also did Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. And where they are going with the main cast is interesting as well. I think they are even following the pattern of the first season by showing the end of events of the past first and then everything that will lead up to that point. But then again maybe not.

Supergirl:

This show had been good so far too. The introduction of Superman was excellent. I was glad to see a TV Superman once again. That is something that has not happen since "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman". Yes, there was "Smalleville" but "Clark" never put on the suit in that series until the end and it was just CGI and not really him. In this show it was Superman. Yes, he was "Clark" too but the actor's portrayal of Superman was excellent. I don't really know where they are going with the plot this season other than it deals with "Cadmus" in some regard. I am patiently waiting for that each week.

Flash:

This show is a "mess" and I mean that in a good way if there is one. Barry screws up the timeline by changing it and then restoring it. Now considering this show is in the same universe  as two others how are they affected. I don't know about "Legends yet" but one minor thing was screwed up on "Arrow". A character's baby girl was turned into a baby boy. And the main villain is attempting to restore powers to people that had them in another timeline. It will be interesting how that develops considering episode 4 is tonight.

Arrow:

This is show is good as well and has been my most anticipated season since season 1 because the flashbacks are from the "fifth year" away from civilization. This season's flashbacks should end with how the first season began. I can't wait for that. And Green Arrow also has a team he is working with. I guess I should say it is a new team because his old one left. And it has a big bad I can't wait to see play out.

Legends of Tomorrow:

This show has been good too after only two episodes. The introduction of the JSA has been brilliant. This  has never been done in live action form. Again Smalleville did have something about the JSA. They did a two-hour episode on it. But they had only a few characters in it and some hints of others but not much to go on. In this show it was a full blown-out team that could kick butt and worked well as a team. I am looking forward to what happens on this show.

Best Friends Whenever:

This show started again in a week of premiers then aired another such week earlier this month. I have watched 9 of the 10 episodes because somehow I missed that last episode but I am recording it and will be watching it later this week. The plot this time is very interesting in that it deals with the past and not the future. And a character that comes from said past is now in the present. And I have a feeling she's not what she claims to be but we'll see.

Well that ends my series of reviews. I have tried real hard to limit my TV viewing to just one show a night and that is basically what I have done. Now I am going to talk about my writing plans.

From Witch to Witness:

This story is still a long way from being done and in my word document I am close to 1000 pages. I stopped working on it because my concentration needed to be on looking for a job and now that is taking care of I can go back to this only the job will limit my time to writing so at this point I don't know when I will go back to this but it will happen soon.

The Adventures of Alpha and Omega:

This is a story idea that came to me when I was of all things was playing with my PS3 and was creating a female character that looked like an angel and I called her "Alpha". And then I created a female character that looked like a demon and called her "Omega". And as I was doing this a story idea came to me and thus the title above this paragraph. And to go further, I even reverence something from this story in "From Witch to Witness" when it hasn't even been written yet. Isn't that something? Well I don't know when I will get to writing this or even if I will because I want to finish the other one first. But hopefully someday I can write it.

The Girl who loved Dracula:

I don't know what the copyrights to "Dracula" are. But you see him in some many things now a days leads me to believe he is open domain but I don't know but this story idea came to me recently and when I get everything down that I want to do about this story I will begin working on it but that may not be until after the above two stories are done.

So that is everything I have to say. I hope everyone enjoys what I have written in this post. I look forward to reading any comments on it and I hope to get some this time but no pressure.

Until next time,

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice The Ultimate Edition

Okay, so today I picked up and purchased this movie. And I watched the original version scene in theaters (I actually wanted to see the extended edition but I put the wrong disk in my PS3 and watched this instead).

I have to say I actually love this movie. I don't understand the hate on this movie just because of "Man of Steel". I did a review of that movie too. It's somewhere in my archives and was one of my first posts in this blog.

Does this movie have some bad parts?" Maybe, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I am not going to criticize anyone for hating this movie. It has been said that if you loved "Man of Steel" you will love this one. If you hated it then you will hate this one.

Well I don't remember how I felt about the first one. I understand the problems people have about it but I didn't really think it was that bad. This one however is definitely better than the first if you were to compare the two.

I will say this. The trailers did not do this movie justice. I thought Wonder Woman shows up when the two in title superheroes begin fighting Doomsday and they had no idea who she was and why she was there. But after watching the movie I find out that is not the case and that Batman actually knows who she is before this final battle.

And let's talk about their confrontation with each other. It was a good fight. It was understandable why they had to fight and they did work together in the end which was another thing I wasn't sure was going to happen because of the trailer. I thought they just stop their fight just to fight Doomsday but that is not what happen.

If wondering why I haven't stated what actually  happen but just what I thought and finding out different is because I don't want to give out spoilers. If you want to know what happens watch the movie. That is my advice, watch the movie. Judge this movie by its content and not by its predecessor. Because it is better than the first and I enjoyed it.

I am not planning on watching the Suicide Squad movie because I have no interest. But I do want to see Wonder Woman when it comes out and Justice League Part 1. That is all I have to say. I hope you enjoy this review of the movie.

A little bit of everything

Well it has been a long time since my last post and I have a lot of stuff to cover. So that is why the title is what it is. And this will be long.

A review of Dallas Season 6:

I finished this season long after my last post. It was a good season with Bobby and J.R. going head to head with each other over the company. And the finale was one of the most popular in the series where the house catches on fire. I have yet to find a copy of season 7 so I can purchase and watch it. Maybe someday. But it was a good season.

Season Finales:

Okay, I have seen the finales for the following shows:

Once Upon of Time:

This was good and I enjoyed it and can't wait for next season. The introductions of new characters was neat and original.

Supergirl:

This was also good and I enjoyed it as well and can't wait for the second season which will air on a new network which is okay because it joins three other D.C. shows making it a family of four that all share the same producers and writers.

Agents of Shield:

I watch the remaining eleven episodes of this program in one day (It had a two-hour finale). And although it was good perhaps I shouldn't have watched it the way I did but I wanted to get it over with. It was okay but the ending, well I just don't know. But I will still watch season 4.

Flash:

I did not like the ending at first but after reading other thoughts and opinions on it and speculations of what it means I don't dislike it much anymore. You see the timeline as it was introduced in Season One is not the original timeline. There are two flashes in the first season finale. We saw what the flash did that saved little Barry's life. The one we saw in this season finale was the one that told the first season flash just to grab the boy and he stopped the Reverse Flash in the second season finale. I think that when the third season starts we'll see things the way they should be to begin with before the Reverse Flash goes back in time. But I don't know.

Arrow:

The only thing I can say about this finale is I can't wait to see the flashbacks for the fifth year away from civilization.

Best Friends Whenever:

This is a cute little sitcom on the Disney Channel that I watch. And everything from the season was resolved in a good way and the set-up for next season was really good.

Girl Meets World:

This ended a while back and the third season starts this Friday Night. The finale sets things up for the third season really well and I can't wait to see the premiere.

To wrap things up about finales, I will try to post about the premieres when they happen if I can.

From Witch to Witness:

This is a story I am writing at the moment. I have completed 28 chapters of it and will some day start writing chapter 29. I am at the moment planning on posting the chapters here. But I have to put this warning to my readers. The main character makes a decision to do something that a lot of you may not agree with. And I will have this character go deep into what she has decided to do. The good thing to know is she will come back from making that decision and make the right one. That being said, I want to state that my faith is in Jesus Christ. And I am asking for his guidance and protection in writing this story because I believe it needs to be told. And I am throwing in "Fantasy Elements" into the story to really drive home the decision this character is making. I have no intention of offending anyone. The ideas introduced in this story are my own. I have had very little influence from other ideas about witchcraft and the occult.

And now the biggie:

I have cancer. It is Sarcoma of the right neck and it is in stage 3. I am supposed to soon be getting radiation treatments for it. Where they will be is to be determined soon. But this all started last summer when a knot began growing on my neck. I didn't do anything about it until January and it led to surgery in April. Plus I lost my job in the same month. They found the cancer in the knot they removed and believe I still have the cancer in me and it could spread if not dealt with soon. When my financial situation is taken care of I am hoping to start the treatments soon and get rid of this thing. If any big happens concerning this I will try to make an update about it.

That is all I have to say for now.

Fall Update and quick reviews of the first few episodes of my favorite returning series

Well I haven't updated this thing since May when I was doing season finales. Well it is time to talk about the season premieres. But first an update:

From Witch to Witness:

I was really going to town on this story but due to one day having to shut down my computer to load updates I haven't gone back to it. And I don't plan too. There is more than likely a major change to the entire plot coming soon so if I ever do go back and write this I will be starting over.

Bite Me:

Until I can come up with a really good plotline for this title it too will be dead.

Other stories:

I have had other stories come to my head but I haven't fleshed them out yet to give them any kind of consideration. But right now I have gone back to fan-fiction writing with my tale: Power Rangers: Mythical Energies. I am posting chapters on Rangerboard. If you want to read them go there. The link to it should be on the bottom of this page. You will have to join in order to comment. I don't plan at this moment to post them here because I don't know if I really should.

Premieres:

Once Upon a Time:

This was a good premiere. Questions in last season's finale cliffhanger were answered. And new ones were posed. What happen to everyone in Camelot? Why did they lose their memories (again)? Due to the format the creators decide to use now we should know by December.

Hawaii 5-0:

This too had a good premiere. Cliffhangers were answered as well as the new season storyline was set.

Blue Bloods:

For the first time this show is actually relying on the previous season cliffhanger to create a storyline with one of the characters this season. But this was not revealed until last night in the third episode but it is still good.

Flash:

Comments I have read about this premiere say it was slow and was more Finale than Premiere. I guess that is accurate but the First Flash Jay Garrick will be in the next episode. That is awesome!

Arrow:

A good start and a Six month time jump.

Agents of Shield:

Again another good premiere than answered questions and set up the season.

Vampire Diaries:

I have officially dropped this show so I have no idea what happen in the premiere because I didn't see it.

Supergirl:

This show premieres really soon. I will try to review it when it does but I might not. I just don't  know.

That is all. Until next time.
